Dominic has worked in the Aboriginal health sector for sixteen years with a focus on sexual health, harm reduction and health promotion. Alongside Sasha Smith, Dominic is the host of the ASH Podcast and also produces and hosts Sheoak Talks Podcast.
Dominic is also a writer & poet and co-owner of Sovereign Soil Farm.

Dominic Guerrera is a Ngarrindjeri, Kaurna and Italian person who lives on Kaurna Yerta.
He has been working in Aboriginal health for 16 years, primarily in the areas of sexual health harm reduction and health promotion. He currently delivers training and education for Aboriginal Health Workers and Practitioners.
The ASH podcast was created and hosted by Dominic and Sasha Smith (Boandik woman) in 2018 and they have performed live shows for both The Melbourne Writers’ Festival and Feast Festival.
Dominic is also the co-owner of Sovereign Soil Farm, a market garden farm that aims to decolonise the farming and food sector and specialises in market garden veggies and native foods.
Dominic is also a poet/ writer with work published in Cordite Review, Non-Compliant and has performed pieces for Adelaide Writer’s Week, JLF Festival, Draw Your (S)Words and Kin Productions’ POC Pride Night. He also is a organiser of the Nunga Writers’ Group, a monthly network group for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander writers in South Australia. Dominic is currently working on a collection of poems.
